26th November – 9.30 – 3pm

Scott’s Selkirk

Scott’s Selkirk was a Millennium project that proved so popular it has become an established part of the Selkirk calendar.

Originally the event was held on the first weekend in December, but in recent years has been earlier to take advantage of the better weather. The event celebrates the life and times of Sir Walter Scott.

There are craft stalls, court cases, street entertainment, and music galore.

We have children’s activities and games, craft demonstrations, guided walks of the town and much more.

Sir Walter Scott’s courtroom is open, as are the many local shops and eateries.

This year the event celebrates the 251st anniversary of Sir Walter’s birth and is being held on Saturday 26th November 2022.

Come and join us if you can – we’d love to see you here
